Boys Football Success

Boys Football:

On Tuesday night the year 9 boys football team won their first game of the season away at Staffordshire University Academy. It was a very wet and miserable evening, however the effort shown by the lads was fantastic. After showing great creativity and communication to go 2-0 up we found ourselves at 2-2 with the lads needing to show real resilience in the second half to bring the result home. They did just that with a hat trick from Jayden and 2 goals from Dainton we won the game 5-2. A great way to start our season here at Great Wyrley. We have 4 more fixtures between now and half term with games for the 8s, 10s and 11s. Let's hope for more of the same.
