BTEC Sport

Today was a fantastic day in BTEC Sport. Firstly the Year 10s took advantage of the rare morning of sunshine and showed incredible levels of responsibility and communication when recording their sporting performance in Football for their coursework. They organised themselves fantastically and demonstrated a range of skills ahead of their coursework deadline in May. It was great to watch them and see how far they have come as a group since September. 

Straight after that we had Year 11 in to demonstrate a range of training methods ahead of their mock exam next week and to gain a deeper understanding of fitness coaching. They completed sessions in continuous and Interval training as well as a difficult and challenging Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation session to improve flexibility. Some fantastic effort and positive attitudes on display.
