Girls Football Conference.

On Thursday 8th February eight girls from Year 7 and 8 represented Great Wyrley Academy at a Girls Football Conference. Nine different schools attended the conference which was led by Jenna Downing (a world champion inline skater),from the Youth Sport Trust. The girls spent the day practising how to deliver different football games so they can organise and lead activities for ‘Let Girls Play’ initiative on Friday March 8th. The aim is to get as many girls as possible playing football on this day across the country. Watch out for the different football activities girls can get involved in on 8th March.
