Let Girls’ Play Year 7 Indoor Football tournament.

All of the Year 7 girls successfully took part in a indoor football tournament to participate in a National girls event called Let Girls’ Play. The aim was to get as many girls playing football as possible on March 8th. The Year 7 girls competed well in 6 different teams. Rachel Daly’s Dolphins (blue) and Lauren James Jaguars (purple) finished joint third. Runners up were Ella Toone’s Tornadoes (non- bibs).The tournament winners were Alessia Russo’s Rockets (green) who won all four of their games. Well done to all of the girls involved. A special mention to the Year 8 girls who helped to referee, time keep and record all of the scores and the Year 7 girls that acted as excellent team leaders.
