Sir Trevor Francis Football Cup: 

On Thursday our Year 9 football team competed for a place in the Last 16 of the Sir Trevor Francis Cup. We hosted Cardinal Wiseman from Birmingham in what was a challenging and entertaining battle. After taking an early lead we let a few goals get by us and found our Seoul Ez 3-2 down. Following a period of fantastic pressure we managed to get the game to 3-3 and for a while it looked as though we would be heading to penalties. However as the end of the game approached  we conceded 2 quick fire goals. We scored again with 1 minute left of the game but unfortunately it was not enough to avoid a 5-4 defeat. Again the lads were fantastic throughout and I couldn’t have been prouder of their efforts.
