NHS Tribute

GWA was proudly asked by the Great Wyrley Parish Council to design and create a fitting Tribute to the NHS to be situated in the Memorial Gardens in the village. Our Sixth Form Engineering students along with Mr Rob Baker gladly took on this honour and were invited along with our Headteacher, Mr Ian Moreton to unveil it on Sunday 1st May at 12 noon during a dedicated service with the Churches Together and local dignitaries. It is a fitting tribute to staff in the NHS, care workers and keyworkers for all their contribution through the pandemic and dedicated to the memory for those lost to covid-19.
