Sustainable Education Summit

On 17th November, two of our Y10 Student leadership team attended the Sustainable Education Summit in Birmingham. This event was supported by The School of Tomorrow and The Edge Foundation and had an overarching aim to bring together school leaders and students to collaboratively discuss and visualise the role of schools in the future.

During the day our ambassadors had opportunities to work with students and leaders from schools from all over the country and made links with international schools also, learning and listening to examples of how sustainability initiatives are being delivered with real impact. The work undertaken and discussions were hinged upon how we can further develop our GWA sustainability action plan and how our school community can play its part in securing a more sustainable and just future for all.
