🌍🥾 Year 11 Geography Fieldwork Trip 🥾🌍

Our Year 11 Geography students recently visited Cardingmill Valley in Church Stretton, Shropshire, where they explored the landscape and successfully trekked up to the source of the river as part of their AQA Physical Geography fieldwork.

During the visit, students carried out important river channel surveys, collecting data that will support their learning and help prepare them for their upcoming exams.

Despite the lively spring weather, our students embraced the challenge and approached the day with enthusiasm and determination. We’re pleased to report that everyone stayed safe, nobody fell in, and no blister plasters were required!

A huge well done to all of the students who attended — they were exemplary throughout the trip and represented Great Wyrley Academy brilliantly. 👏
