♻️🌍 Year 9 Sustainability & Culture Project 🌏♻️

Mr. Cooper’s Year 9 Design Technology students have been getting creative with sustainability by designing their own recycled jewelry, inspired by Polynesian culture! ✨

Using old plastic bottle caps, they’ve melted them down to create colorful blanks, transforming waste into unique, meaningful pendants. After researching Māori symbols and their significance, students carefully cut their intricate designs and meticulously sanded them using wet and dry paper. 🏗️🎨

A huge well done to the class for their patience, precision, and creativity—working with a coping saw on such detailed designs is no easy task! 👏
