Summer School 2021

In August 2021, Great Wyrley invited all of our new year 7 students to take part in our Summer School. This took place across 4 days from Monday 9th August until Thursday 12th August.

This was an exciting week that involved literacy and numeracy skills, team building activities and leadership. Students got to

• Meet teaching staff and get familiar with new surroundings
• Be with friends and meet new friends 
• Take part in team building and confidence games
• Have additional Literacy and numeracy enhancement provided

Total number of students who took part: 59 (14 of whom eligible for Pupil Premium)
