School is closed to students all day on Monday 9 December 2024 for INSET DAY
We recognise the vital part that a healthy diet plays in a child’s wellbeing, development and ability to learn and achieve effectively to unlock their potential.
We provide a range of healthy food choices throughout the school day and encourage healthy eating. Our menus are nutritionally balanced and run on a three week cycle.
We believe lunchtime is more than just about eating. It expands out students' academic and personal potential. Children sit together at lunch, whether eating school meals or a packed lunch, which encourages social interaction, are encouraged to try new foods and develop their table manners.
You can view our menus below.
We operate a cashless catering system that students can use to purchase food.
Payment for school meals must be made on Arbor.
Students on free school meals also need an account but do not need to credit their account as this will be done automatically on a daily basis for them.
Parents can use the account to monitor payments, view what food their child has purchased from the school kitchen and see how much has been spent. It also reduces queuing time for school meals.
If you have any questions about any of the above please contact Mrs Jayne Kavanagh on info@greatwyrley.windsoracademytrust.org.uk
