House competitions

Before half term we had the French baking house competition with loads of  absolutely amazing entries. Pupils were incredibly creative and made a variety of really interesting cakes and bakes, showing off their knowledge of French cuisine and also their aptitude for baking.

Lions won the whole competition with several of their pupils coming up with some innovative and (most importantly) delicious creations.

Our winners were:

• Appearance - Caelan Bowen (7W) for his amazing tarte au citron
• Originality - Harry Ridgway (8W) for a delicious chocolate ganache and roasted strawberries tart 

Taste - Mason Upton and Noah Abbot (7W) for the chocolate orange éclairs which are incredibly hard to master. Well done to these pupils!

After half term we have the results of the valentines decoration competition and a history competition for the first week after half term.
