WAT Games 2023.
Pupils from Year’s 10, 9, 8 and 7 did an amazing job representing Great Wyrley Academy at the WAT games. This was the first WAT games since 2019 and involved all four secondary schools in the Trust. There were wins in the 200m’s, 1500m’s, shot put, high jump, and the cricket ball throw. Most importantly of all, every pupil who took part for Great Wyrley gave 100% effort, and showed great sportsmanship and resilience. Every pupil who participated should be really proud of themselves. Well done.
