Year 10 Maths Feast 2024

This week on the 12th of March, 8 of our year 10 students traveled to Telford for the AMSP Maths Feast. This was a maths competition involving schools from all across the local area who come together to really challenge each other.

The students were asked to break codes, infer logical laws and construct rhombic dodecohedrons from flimsy card!

There were over 20 teams in attendance and three teams were awarded teamwork awards based off their performances. the two teams of 4 from GWA secured two of these awards for themselves!

It was a great day and really helped us show everyone that maths can be fun!"
