Year 7/8 WAT girls football tournament.

We had the privilege of hosting the Year 7/8 WAT girls football tournament at Great Wyrley Academy. Teams from Windsor High School, Kingswinford Academy, Cheslyn Hay Academy, Windsor Olympus Academy and Great Wyrley Academy all competed against each other in 7 aside matches.

Hayden Patrick and Jamie Townsend from Year 11 refereed the games with excellent professionalism and leadership. The Great Wyrley team did themselves proud drawing 5 of their games, including matches against the teams that finished second and third in the tournament.  We also had goals from Phoebe Foster and Darcey Wootton. A great team effort. Well done!!
