Year 8/9 Futsal Tournament

The Year 8/9 girls football team produced a fantastic performance at a 5 a-side Futsal tournament at Cheslyn Hay Academy, finishing in 3rd place. With two victories and only losing 3-2 to the eventual winners the girls played fantastically well as a team.

N’Kyah Reid contributed two goals and Phoebe Foster and Eden Guest both scored four goals each. Isabella Arrowsmith and Sophie Pearson made some strong tackles and blocks in defence, with Freya Preston backing them up in goal with a collection of brilliant saves. Jorja Jo Johnston completed the team and made several dangerous attacking runs and passes forwards. Well done on an excellent team performance.
