Through PSHE, students are encouraged to develop a broad perspective, appreciate diverse opinions, and respect the beliefs of others. By fostering a deep understanding of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect, and tolerance, students engage with the fabric of our democratic society. They become aware of the political, economic, and legal structures shaping our nation, preparing them to play an active role in shaping the future.

Students gain the tools to become active, informed, safe, and responsible citizens in today's society.

Delivery of PSHE

PSHE is interwoven with various subjects, making it an integral part of our curriculum. 

At Great Wyrley Academy PSHE is delivered by the form tutors, with in form time or in dedicated Aspire for Life days, spread out throughout the year
